About Us

PLAN was founded in 2003 by a small number
of friends in the Pittsburgh D/s Community.
We want to promote friendliness, openness,
and skill at welcoming new people into our
lifestyle. We are completely non-biased and
non-partisan within the Pittsburgh D/s
community. We are working hard to fulfill
our role as the gateway organization for
people entering the lifestyle in Pittsburgh
and the surrounding area. As a new member,
or new to the area member, we welcome you
and hope you will find the friendship,
understanding, and education within the
resources that the Pittsburgh community has
to offer. |

PLAN is a Pittsburgh based pansexual,
social, and common interest organization
that serves as a gateway to the D/s,
Leather, and Alternative lifestyle
communities. It is non-commercial,
non-profit and dues-free. It exists to
provide a positive and dynamic environment
for people to meet others with a similar
interest in bondage, domination, submission,
sadism, masochism, body art, and other
erotic or related topics. Toward that end,
PLAN attempts to foster community and
interaction through social events and
functions. Pittsburgh has a multitude of
munches, workshops, demos and events
geographically spread out across the
community. At the time of this writing,
there are four munch groups that have
regular monthly meetings. PLAN does not
favor one group over another. Rather, PLAN
was founded to help the “new” person gain
knowledge of all of them. |

PLAN volunteers meet sporadically at
different times and locations within
Pittsburgh. This is an opportunity for new
people to meet, socialize, and ask questions
with a smaller group of your normal everyday
people. The only requirements are: you must
be at least 18 years old, have a healthy and
positive attitude about our lifestyle, and
following our rules of behavior primarily
concerning member anonymity and safety. |
